Getting Started

The basics of working together

What exactly does a professional organizer do?
I help you sort, edit, and create sustainable systems for your belongings and spaces. That includes hands-on decluttering, designing storage solutions, labeling, and coaching you through decisions — so your home functions the way your life actually needs it to.
Do I need to clean or tidy before you arrive?
Absolutely not. In fact, I prefer to see the space as you actually live in it. That helps me understand where systems are breaking down and how to build ones that will truly stick.
Will you judge my mess?
Never. My work is completely confidential and completely judgment-free. There is nothing you can show me that I haven't seen — and every home I walk into is met with compassion.
How does the process start?
We begin with a free discovery call to talk about your goals, your space, and your timeline. From there, I'll recommend a package and we'll schedule your first hands-on session.

Sessions & Pricing

What to expect and what it costs

How much do your services cost?
Pricing depends on the scope of your project. I offer hourly rates as well as multi-session packages that save you money for larger projects. Visit my pricing page or book a discovery call for a personalized quote.
How long does a typical session last?
Most in-home sessions run 3 to 4 hours. It's long enough to make significant progress, but short enough that decision fatigue doesn't set in.
Do I need to be present the whole time?
For decluttering sessions, yes — I need you there to make decisions about your belongings. For organizing and setup after decisions are made, you can absolutely go about your day.
Do you charge for shopping and supplies?
Supplies (bins, labels, drawer dividers, etc.) are billed separately at cost. I always confirm any purchases with you in advance — no surprises.

The Nitty-Gritty

Logistics, donations, and what happens to your stuff

What happens to items I decide to let go of?
I coordinate donation drop-offs to local charities, arrange consignment when appropriate, and haul away one carload of donations per session at no extra charge. You'll get receipts for tax purposes whenever available.
Do you work with clients who have chronic disorganization or ADHD?
Yes. I specialize in building systems that work with your brain, not against it. Every plan is tailored to how you actually think and function.
Do you offer virtual organizing?
Yes! Virtual sessions are a wonderful option for clients outside my service area or those who want coaching-style support while doing the work themselves.
What areas do you serve?
I serve clients throughout the local metro area for in-home sessions, and clients nationwide via virtual organizing. Reach out to confirm availability in your zip code.
What's your cancellation policy?
I ask for 48 hours notice for cancellations or reschedules. Life happens — I'm always flexible when it does.
