WHAT WE DO

Six Ways We Take the Weight.

This is not “help for hire.” It is professional leadership for a major life transition — one point of accountability, one documented plan, one team that closes the loops.

Senior Move Coordination & Relocation

Moving with dignity, not just boxes. Custom floor plans, pre-sort and downsize decisions, packing, mover coordination with full inventory, and complete settle-in — bed made, kitchen functional, photos on the wall — before we leave.

Home & Office Organization

The quiet reset that changes everything. Whole-home or room-by-room systems designed around how you actually live — closets, kitchen, garage, basement, attic, office — brought to order.

Liquidation & Asset Management

Every heirloom honored. Every asset accounted for. Sort, lot creation, inventory and photography, auction management, and consignment routing — including through our sister brand, A Vintage Find Co.

Estate Cleanouts: Donation, Hauling & Disposal

When a household must be cleared completely — for a sale, an estate, or a major downsize — we manage donation drop-offs and receipts, hauling, trash and recycling. Discreet, fast, documented.

Home Maintenance Add-On Services

Paint, chimney, plumbing, electrical, window cleaning, gutters, staging, snow removal, move-out cleaning, shipping. Coordinated through our vetted vendor network — one call instead of fifteen.

FLAGSHIP

The TLC Advantage Program

A white-glove engagement that wraps every service into a single accountable program for the full arc of a senior transition or estate settlement. One named conductor. Reserved for families who want a fully managed outcome.

If we don’t provide it directly, we bring in vetted professionals and manage the handoffs — protecting the outcome, the timeline, and the dignity of the person transitioning.

THE METHOD

E.P.I.C. — A Method, Not a Work Ethic.

Anyone can work hard in a full house. What keeps a project from stalling is a sequence everyone agrees on before the first drawer opens. Every space we touch runs through the same four stages, in the same order.

Edit — decide what matters

Before anything moves, we surface what stays — not what is valuable, but what matters to the person whose home this is.

Purge — release the rest, without regret

Only once the keeps are settled do we deal with the remainder — every item routed through the Disposition Pathway.

Identify — label, document, assign

Everything that stays gets named and assigned. For estates, this is where the inventory and distribution record are built.

Contain — give it a home you can find

Containers chosen for the person’s actual reach, eyesight, and habits — not for how the shelf photographs.

THE DISPOSITION PATHWAY

Every Heirloom Honored. Every Asset Accounted For.

Every item leaving the home passes through the same four gates, in the same order. The order is the whole point — it is what stands between a family and the sentence “we just had someone come take it all.”

01

Gift

Family first, always. Documented so no one is left wondering whether they were asked.

02

Sell

Consignment, auction, specialist buyer, or estate sale — with realistic numbers, given up front.

03

Donate

To organizations we have relationships with, matched to what the item is. Receipts documented.

04

Responsibly Dispose

Recycling, e-waste, hazardous materials, document destruction — done properly, not tipped into one container.

Nothing skips a gate. Nothing leaves without being routed.

WHAT IT COSTS

What This Costs, Honestly.

Every long-lived-in home is different, so nobody can quote this from a website. What we can do is stop you guessing.

THE FIRST STEP

The Working Assessment

$250

We walk the home, scope the work, and deliver a written plan — the phases, the sequence, the realistic timeline, and a Disposition Pathway for the contents. You own that document.

Families who hire us can apply the $250 to the project. Families who do not still leave with a plan they can act on.

QUESTIONS FAMILIES ASK

Straight Answers, No Preamble.

What does senior move coordination involve?
Senior move coordination is the planning and management of an older adult’s move from a long-lived-in home to a smaller residence or senior community. It covers the floor plan, decisions about what comes and what does not, disposition of everything left behind, the move itself, and unpacking and setup on the other end. One team holds the whole sequence.
How is this different from hiring a professional organizer?
An organizer improves how a space works. Coordination manages a transition from one home to another — including the parts that happen outside the house: the sale, the donations, the haulers, the timeline against a closing date.
How much does it cost?
Project pricing is scoped in writing after a Working Assessment, which is $250. The Assessment produces a written plan with phases, sequence, timeline, and a disposition strategy. Costs vary with the size of the home, the volume, and how much of the work the family wants to keep.
What happens to the things nobody in the family wants?
Everything is routed through the Disposition Pathway: Gift, Sell, Donate, Responsibly Dispose — in that order. Gifting to family comes first, then resale where there is real value, then donation to organizations we have relationships with, and only then disposal — which means recycling and proper handling, not a dumpster by default.
Do I need to be there while you work?
No. A large share of our clients live out of state and take part by phone and photo. We can also work alongside you if being there matters, or alongside your parent at their pace.
Do you work with families who live out of state?
Yes, routinely. National virtual planning is available, with a check-in rhythm and documentation cadence built for family members who cannot be in the home.
